How to Drop Internal Shadow?

In AV Bros. Page Curl Pro 2.2 you can let either light source drop the internal shadow. This amazing feature provides the bent page with the extremely realistic look. To drop the internal shadow(s) do the following:

Be sure that the Lighting (Advanced) palette is active. If it is not, then click the Lighting button in the Main window to activate this palette. (If you are using the plug-in for the very first time, then you also need to click the "Switch To Advanced Lighting Mode" button, which is in the bottom of the Lighting (Simple) palette. Do the same if the Lighting (Simple) palette was last used lighting palette.) See Fig.1.

In the Lighting (Advanced) palette, enable dropping internal shadows option for the light source and adjust the parameters of the Inner Shadow by using appropriate controls (see Fig. 2). To preview the inner shadow, click the Render Shadow button or, select the Shadow Auto Rendering menu item under the Options button of the Main Preview. The latter is suitable for more powerful computers. AV Bros. Page Curl Pro 2.x Tutorials - (Internal Shadow Fig.2)

If you have several light sources, then you can enable the Drop Inner Shadow option for either of them and, of course, the parameters of either of the Inner Shadows can be adjusted separately. For choosing the light source, which shadow's parameters you'd like to adjust, use either the list of Light Sources or choose the appropriate light source directly on the Light hemisphere (see Fig.3).

If you have several light sources, which colors are different and, especially if all of them are not white, then, according to the Light theory, the shadows will have the colors other than the "standard" grey and there will even be the mixed colored shadows on the areas where the shadows intersect (see Fig.4).
